Has Black political loyalty been earned, exploited, or taken for granted?

Tony Tidbit and Chris P. Reed examine the relationship between Black voters, the Democratic Party, Donald Trump, and the Republican Party. They explore why some younger Black men are shifting politically, whether personality is replacing policy, and what each party has tangibly delivered for Black America.

The conversation also revisits Malcolm X’s warning about automatic party loyalty and asks whether Black voters should treat their votes as political leverage rather than lifetime membership cards.

No party is entitled to the Black vote. Every candidate should be required to earn it through credible policies, transparent commitments, and measurable results.
